Contract Manager
We're looking for a Contract Manager to join our TfL Highways Maintenance and Projects Framework (HMPF) team based in London. You'll be joining a large and established team covering two depots, working across London 24/7, 365 days a year. In this role, you'll provide leadership and expertise to deliver the requirements of the TfL Highways Maintenance and Projects Framework across North London

Hours: 45 Hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As a Contract Manager, you'll lead a team of delivery managers to ensure all works are delivered on time, safely and to a high standard, meeting our clients' contractual requirements whilst promoting continuous improvement and ensuring your team has the competence, resources and safe systems of work they need to succeed. Your day to day will include:
- Ensuring adherence to all contractual KPIs and overseeing the performance of the HMF Contract
- Managing Winter Maintenance Operations, including fleet, resources and stock in line with contractual requirements and industry best practice
- Leading and developing a team of delivery managers and supervisors, ensuring they have adequate training and support
- Acting as Premises Manager for relevant depots and offices, ensuring compliance to all Kier Group Quality standards
- Promoting innovation on the contract with a focus on environmental improvements, safety and cost savings
What are we looking for?
This Contract Manager role could be an excellent fit if you:
- Hold relevant leadership and industry qualifications, such as NRSWA, SMSTS, or equivalent management and supervisory certifications
- Have achieved NEBOSH Safety Excellence certification and can demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and operational compliance
- Bring substantial experience leading high-performing highways maintenance, infrastructure, or operational teams, delivering exceptional service and performance
- Combine strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage contracts, drive efficiencies, and deliver successful outcomes for clients and stakeholders
- Are an influential communicator with excellent relationship-building skills, supported by strong digital and ICT capability and a full driving licence
