HR Business Partner

We're looking for a HR Business Partner to join our Kier Natural Resources team based in East Anglia.

Location: East Anglia - Hybrid working available with travel to sites and offices as required
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to partner with our Kier Natural Resources management team, where you'll play a key role in driving our people plan and supporting business strategy. You'll be at the heart of creating an innovative, effective and customer-focused service that makes a real difference to our teams and the business.

What will you be responsible for?

As a HR Business Partner, you'll be working within the Kier Natural Resources team, supporting them in delivering their people strategy and business objectives. Your day to day will include:

  • Partnering with operational and functional leads as a trusted advisor, bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help deliver business strategy
  • Managing employee relations activity and coordinating people matters related to contract mobilisation and demobilisation
  • Using data, metrics and evidence to drive decision making and resolve complex people challenges
  • Collaborating with managers and Talent Acquisition partners to develop hiring strategies and drive continuous improvements
  • Championing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion throughout the business and coaching team members to reach their full potential

What are we looking for?

This role of HR Business Partner is great for you if:

  • You're degree qualified (or qualified by experience) with demonstrable experience of business partnering in medium or large organisations
  • You have strong employee engagement and employee relations skills with up to date knowledge of employment legislation
  • You're highly collaborative with excellent communication skills and a personal desire to drive change
  • You have strong relationship skills and can build influential relationships with senior stakeholders
  • You're delivery focused and pragmatic, able to flex your approach to diverse audiences and business needs
