Document Controller
We're looking for a Document Controller to join our team based in Suffolk.
Location: Suffolk
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
In this role, you will be a valuable part of our delivery team, providing essential document administration and oversight of document control. You will support the delivery teams with managing documentation across various systems, ensuring that all protocols are adhered to and that our works are complete and correct. Nuclear Safety Culture is at the forefront of what we do, and you'll play an instrumental role in demonstrating this through full and complete documentation.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Document Controller, you'll be working within the delivery team, supporting them in managing and maintaining documentation across our projects. Your day to day will include:
- Supporting delivery teams with uploading and downloading documentation onto document management systems and carrying out electronic filing on shared drives
- Liaising with supply chain and delivery teams for outstanding paperwork
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure Document Control protocols are adhered to, upskilling and sharing best practices with the wider team
- Training project team members to view and manage information electronically as agreed with project leadership
- Supporting the escalation of any issues in respect of overdue and/or outstanding documentation with relevant project stakeholders
What are we looking for?
This role of Document Controller is great for you if:
- You have experience of using an electronic document management system
- You have previous experience within a similar Administration role
- You possess good communication and organisation skills with great attention to detail
- You hold a Full driving licence and have access to a vehicle
- You hold a CSCS Card
