We're looking for an Electrical Qualifying Engineer to join our team based in Kent & surrounding areas.

Location: Kent & surrounding areas
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

As an Electrical Qualifying Engineer, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical engineering services across multiple client sites in London and the surrounding areas. This is an opportunity to use your specialist skills and qualifications to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective service delivery whilst supporting our commitment to excellence.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Electrical Qualifying Engineer, you'll be working within the engineering team, supporting them in delivering planned, reactive, and extra works engineering services. Your day to day will include:

  • Carrying out quality audits on both in-house electricians and subcontractor electrical works to maintain the highest standards
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and minor works across multiple sites
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on electrical systems and plant, ensuring all work meets required specifications
  • Maintaining accurate information and condition ratings for the asset management database
  • Identifying additional work requirements and providing material and labour estimates for client quotes

What are we looking for?

This role of Electrical Qualifying Engineer is great for you if:

  • You're a fully qualified electrician with a JIB/ECS Gold card and hold NVQ Level 3 qualifications (such as C&G 2360/2330/2356/2357/2382)
  • You have completed your AM1 and AM2 assessments and hold 18th Edition BS7671 certification
  • You hold the full 2391 test and inspection qualification
  • You have up to 3 years of relevant experience and are working towards or hold EngTech accreditation to a professional body
  • You're proactive, detail-focused, and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver excellent results for clients
