We're looking for an Electrical Technician to join our Area 4 M&R team based in Area 4.

Location: Area 4 - Stanford Depot, M20 Junction 11, Honeywood, Kent, United Kingdom, CT21 4UX
Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week, days and nights, rota agreed locally

Salary: £38,806 per annum

What will you be responsible for?

As an Electrical Technician, you'll be working within the Electrical team, supporting them in delivering routine preventative and reactive maintenance on streetlighting assets. Your day to day will include:

  • Carrying out maintenance and construction works on streetlighting equipment in accordance with contract requirements
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, following risk assessments, method statements and quality plans
  • Recording and documenting work accurately to support performance monitoring
  • Supporting the health, safety and environmental team by reporting incidents and maintaining safety records
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team to promote a 'right first time' culture

What are we looking for?

This role of Electrical Technician is great for you if:

  • You hold an ECS Card and Full driving licence
  • You have experience in streetlighting operations and electrical systems maintenance
  • You're skilled at managing projects within tight time and budget constraints
  • You have strong problem-solving abilities and a good understanding of risk management
  • You're committed, adaptable and thrive in collaborative team environments
