Electrician
We're looking for an Electrician to join our Area 4 M&R team based in Area 4.
Location: Area 4 - Honeywood - Stanford Depot, M20 Junction 11, Honeywood, Kent, CT21 4UX
Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week, days and nights, rota agreed locally
Salary: £42,357 per annum

Join our team as an Electrician where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing streetlighting assets across Area 4. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of essential maintenance services to our communities.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Electrician, you'll be working within the Area 4 M&R team, supporting them in delivering routine preventative and reactive maintenance on streetlighting assets. Your day to day will include:
- Carrying out maintenance and construction works on streetlighting assets in accordance with contract requirements
- Conducting periodic testing, new installation testing, and fault finding on electrical equipment and control systems
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant Quality Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and safety procedures
- Completing accurate documentation and records of maintenance work carried out, including health and safety records
- Monitoring contractors' safe working practices and contributing to a collaborative working environment
What are we looking for?
This role of Electrician is great for you if:
- You hold City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, ECS Card, and City and Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect qualifications
- You have a Full driving licence and experience in streetlighting maintenance operations
- You bring strong problem-solving skills and a good working knowledge of risk management
- You're committed to delivering quality work through collaborative partnerships in a supportive team environment
- You have a positive, adaptable attitude with the determination to deliver projects within time and budget constraints
