Estimator

We're looking for an Estimator to join our Building Solutions South team based in London.

 

Location: London 

Hours: 40 hours per week 

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

 

What will you be responsible for?

As an Estimator, you'll be working within the Building Solutions South team, supporting them in delivering high-quality estimates for construction and refurbishment projects ranging from £1m to £20m.

Your day to day will include:

  • Appraising and evaluating client tender requirements and specifications
  • Producing tender stage bills of quantities and pricing labour, plant, and material rates
  • Managing tender information and subcontract trade package enquiries
  • Providing early-stage project cost plans and value engineering options
  • Communicating and handing over estimates to project teams

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Estimator is great for you if:

  • You have strong communication skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams and supply chains
  • You are proficient in computerised estimating and take-off software, with solid general IT skills
  • You hold industry-recognised construction-related qualifications and have previous experience in a similar role

A Full Driving Licence is required (does not need to be a UK licence).
