Finance Data Analyst

We're looking for a Finance Data Analyst to join our Finance Shared Service Centre team based in Salford.

 

Location: Optimum House, Salford – hybrid working available, with a minimum of 1 day per week in the office
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Finance Data Analyst, you'll be working within the Finance Shared Service Centre team, supporting them in delivering reporting and analytical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across Kier Group.

Your day to day will include:

  • Creating and maintaining visual dashboards for colleagues and senior stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining SQL reports from financial systems
  • Automating manual tasks using Microsoft tools and working with automation partners
  • Delivering ad-hoc reports and trend analysis
  • Supporting the BI Reporting team's service delivery across the business

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Finance Data Analyst is great for you if:

  • You have strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint
  • You're confident writing and understanding SQL scripts
  • You're collaborative, well-organised, and proactive in problem-solving and process improvement
