We're looking for a Ganger/Team Leader to join our Anglian Water Alliance team based in Northampton.

Location: Great Billing. Northampton
Hours: 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday 

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

In this role, you will be working on our Anglian Water Alliance, where we focus on maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the water network. You'll be leading a team on large diameter repairs and installations, as well as small main laying programmes, ensuring excellent standards of safety and quality throughout.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Ganger/Team Leader, you'll be working within the Anglian Water Alliance team, supporting them in delivering vital water infrastructure projects. Your day to day will include:

  • Managing a team of one to five operatives, ensuring all works and sites comply with relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
  • Communicating with Delivery Agents and Engineers to monitor progress and inform of any problems or programme changes
  • Maintaining high standards of site safety and compliance, including daily inspections, excavation assessments, and permit monitoring
  • Overseeing the completion of site specific documentation, including HAVS monitoring, PUWER and LOLER documents, and safety reporting measures
  • Dealing with customers and stakeholders in a professional manner, escalating any incidents in line with reporting processes

What are we looking for?

This role of Ganger/Team Leader is great for you if:

  • You hold a Full driving licence with B+E towing entitlement
  • You have NRSWA, EUSR and SHEA accreditation, CSCS card skilled, and NPORS/CPCS operator certification
  • You have experience in the Water Utilities sector as a team leader
  • You hold SSSTS and NVQ Service laying and Main laying qualifications
  • You have the ability to coach and manage individuals effectively
