General Operative
We're looking for a General Operative to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Regional Civils team based in Warwickshire.
Location: Hatton, Warwickshire - This role will require regular travel.
Hours: 47.5 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for?
As a General Operative, you'll be working within the Regional Civils team, supporting them by carrying out a variety of civil engineering tasks including general groundworks, concreting, steel fixing, shuttering and general lifting operations, general construction and customer liaison.
Your day to day will include:
- General Site duties associated with civil engineering groundworks, ensuring works are of a high standard.
- Responsible for adhering to all Health and Safety standards and requirements as dictated by site paperwork.
- Communicating with the supervisor and other colleagues as required to update them on progress, timely communication when unexpected issues arise on site.
- Receiving toolbox talks, receiving RAMS, receiving site inductions.
- Ensure correct use of plant and materials and to minimise wastage.
- Working independently and following instructions and maintaining an accident free zone and positive approach to Health and Safety.
What are we looking for?
This role of General Operative is great for you if:
- Full UK driving license D/E
- CSCS card
- Relevant construction experience
