GPR Surveyor

We're looking for a GPR Surveyor to join our Anglian Water Alliance team based in Great Billing, Northamptonshire.

Location: Great Billing, Northamptonshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

Working as part of the Integrated Maintenance, Repair & Development Services (IMRDS) team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the mainlaying team with pre-design surveying and site investigations. Using ground penetrating radar (GPR), you'll help deliver capital solutions and network improvement schemes across the Anglian Water region. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects including mainlaying schemes, DMA/DZ splits, and planned reactive works, whilst contributing to important efficiency targets and adding real value to the water network asset base.

What will you be responsible for?

As a GPR Surveyor, you'll be working within the mainlaying team, supporting them in delivering capital solutions and network improvement schemes. Your day to day will include:

• Carrying out intensive site surveys using GPR and RD8200 Cat TX10 Genny locator
• Uploading all survey data via IQMAPS in raw format so designers can draft scheme designs
• Conducting overhead and underground utility surveys, along with soil and surface sampling
• Liaising with local highways and traffic management companies, and engaging land agents where required
• Ensuring CDM requirements are captured during site visits and comply with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation

What are we looking for?

This role of GPR Surveyor is great for you if:

• You hold Level 3 Advanced EML Utility Surveyor Training
• You have experience within a similar role of surveying using GPR and RD8200 Cat
• You have knowledge of Streetworks requirements and hold NRSWA Supervisor qualification
• You hold SSSTS or equivalent, EUSR Water Hygiene, and First Aid at Work qualifications
• You hold a Full driving licence
