Graduate Drainage Engineer

We're looking for a Graduate Drainage Engineer to join our Infrastructure team working on projects across Leicestershire. You will be working in the water area of infrastructure, supporting on the Drainage part of the projects.

Locations: Leicestershire 

Starting Salary: £31,000 per annum 

Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k  

Starting date: September 2027

 What you will be responsible for?  

As a Graduate Drainage Engineer, you'll be an essential part of our Design team, helping to shape the future of construction projects

What will your day-to-day duties include?

• Assisting in the preparation of design calculations, hydraulic models, and technical reports.
• Assisting in the preparation and management of project designs, plans, and specifications
• Supporting the development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets. 
• Conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Collaborating with project managers and engineers to solve technical issues and ensure project success
• Preparing technical reports, documentation, and providing project updates

What are we looking for?  

We're looking for people due to graduate in 2027, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• A related Degree in Civil Engineering
• You're excited about starting a career in design engineering
• You're organized, with great time management skills
• You enjoy solving problems and have strong analytical abilities. 
• Full UK drivers' licence.
