Location: Manchester
Hours: 45 Hours - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This Information Manager role offers an excellent opportunity to work within our information management function, focusing on adopting our information management process across projects. You'll ensure compliance with industry and Kier standards, particularly ISO 19650, whilst helping to deliver against client requirements. The role involves highlighting any errors throughout the quality assurance process and maintaining awareness of the golden thread and associated requirements.

Our information management function has evolved from traditional document control roles and is now responsible for delivering compliance with ISO 19650 and the Building Safety Act. Through our Digital by Default approach, we've developed our understanding of the opportunities available and are utilising industry-leading solutions to deliver projects right first time, every time. As part of the information management team, you'll have industry professionals around you to support with queries and ensure your ambitions are realised.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Information Manager, you'll be working within the information management team, supporting them in delivering digital excellence across projects.

Your day to day will include:

  • Implementing our Digital by Default strategy for information management, including systems and processes for the Common Data Environment (CDE) across all live projects
  • Conducting audits and generating compliance reports on live projects, working with project teams to close out any corrective actions required
  • Delivering CDE advanced courses and providing upskilling sessions to information coordinators
  • Providing ongoing management of information coordinators, including performance reviews, mentoring, and training
  • Ensuring the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) is configured to CDE principles, as per Kier standards and BS EN ISO 19650

What are we looking for?

This role of Information Manager is great for you if:

  • You're proficient in understanding the practical application of information management procedures, including effective workflows and change management
  • You can demonstrate capability in delivering ISO 19650 across projects
  • You have experience managing EDMS configured to CDE principles (Viewpoint For Projects preferred)
  • You have experience working on projects with large volumes of data and information from various sources
  • You're a critical and initiative-taking thinker with strong organisational skills and the ability to train and support others

We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome! So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.
