Learning and Development Advisor

We're looking for a Learning and Development Advisor to join our Infrastructure team based nationally across Birmingham, London, and Manchester.

Location: National Role – Birmingham, London, Manchester
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Learning and Development Advisor, you'll be working within the Infrastructure team, ensuring training initiatives align with strategic goals, foster continuous improvement, and build a culture of learning. You'll work with key stakeholders to develop and deliver Learning and Development plans, providing expert advice and guidance on appropriate learning solutions. Your day to day will include:

  • Developing and implementing integrated L&D plans aligned with business goals and legislation
  • Identifying skill gaps and delivering targeted learning solutions that support business capability
  • Collaborating with partners to support early careers programmes including graduate schemes and apprenticeships
  • Monitoring and reporting on L&D activity, ensuring accurate record-keeping and supporting compliance audits
  • Driving innovation in learning delivery through digital, blended and workplace learning approaches

What are we looking for?

This role of Learning and Development Advisor is ideal for someone who:

  • Brings proven experience in Learning & Development or Training, with a track record of successfully delivering learning initiatives within a commercial or corporate environment.
  • Excels at building strong relationships and partnerships, with outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and networking skills.
  • Is highly organised, self-motivated, and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams, projects, and business functions.
  • Has experience facilitating training sessions and is confident using Microsoft Office applications to support learning delivery and programme administration.
  • Is flexible and adaptable, with the ability to travel nationwide to support projects, stakeholders, and learning activities when required.
