Operations and Maintenance Manager
We're looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our Neath Port Talbot Hospital PFI team based in Neath Port Talbot.
Location: Neath Port Talbot Hospital
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00

What will you be responsible for?
As a Maintenance Manager, you'll be working within the Neath Port Talbot Hospital PFI team, supporting the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of hard FM services across the site.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing, developing and supporting engineers to deliver reactive and planned preventative maintenance safely and effectively.
- Ensuring asset information, logbooks and CAFM records are accurate, up to date and aligned to contractual requirements.
- Overseeing PPM scheduling, shift rotas, out-of-hours cover and time management for your direct reports.
- Monitoring KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and escalating issues where required.
- Supporting audits, lifecycle planning, cost-base reviews, stock management and small works quotations.
What are we looking for?
This role of Maintenance Manager is great for you if:
- You have experience working within hard FM services, ideally in a healthcare or PFI environment.
- You understand industry standards (HTMs, SFG20) and can ensure safe, compliant delivery.
- You have strong people-management skills, including performance conversations, absence management and team development.
- You can build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
