We're looking for a Payroll Implementation Manager to join our HR Shared Services team based in Rushden.

Location: Rushden - hybrid working available, with travel to the office required 2 days per week.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to take the lead on implementing a new payroll system for our Republic of Ireland operations. Working alongside a trusted payroll provider, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payrolls whilst building strong relationships across the business. This role offers the chance to make a real impact, drive meaningful improvements, and support our colleagues throughout this important transition.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Payroll Implementation Manager, you'll be working within the HR Shared Services team, supporting them in delivering seamless payroll operations for our Republic of Ireland colleagues. Your day to day will include:

  • Leading the implementation of Republic of Ireland payrolls, including provider selection, system integrations and process design
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as HR, IT, Finance, and Reward to ensure a smooth implementation journey
  • Managing relationships with third-party payroll providers and ensuring service levels are consistently met
  • Developing comprehensive payroll documentation and delivering knowledge transfer across the wider team
  • Ensuring full compliance with local tax and employment legislation whilst maintaining accurate payroll calendars

What are we looking for?

This role of Payroll Implementation Manager is ideal for you if:

  • You have experience leading Republic of Ireland payroll implementations for both weekly and monthly payrolls
  • You bring at least 5 years of payroll experience, with a minimum of 3 years managing Republic of Ireland payrolls
  • You have experience managing outsourced payroll processes and building collaborative provider relationships
  • You possess strong stakeholder management skills and can communicate effectively at all levels
  • You're comfortable working with complex systems, have advanced Excel skills, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail
