Planner
We're looking for a Planning Manager to join our construction team based in Basingstoke.
Location: Basingstoke, Hybrid
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Planning Manager, you'll play a vital role in our project delivery process, providing planning expertise from tender through to on-site delivery. Working collaboratively with work winning, preconstruction, operations and design colleagues, you'll help develop realistic construction programmes and ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Planning Manager, you'll be working within the construction team, supporting them in successful project delivery. Your day to day will include:
- Creating and managing integrated programmes covering the full project lifecycle, coordinating design, commercial and production activities
- Developing logistics plans and working closely with construction teams to monitor progress
- Creating look-ahead programmes and individual trade package programmes
- Supporting project leads with technical planning skills and advising on programme adjustments
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and consistency in project delivery
What are we looking for?
This role of Planning Manager is great for you if:
- You're experienced with planning software such as Asta, Primavera or Microsoft Project
- You have planning experience with a main contractor delivering construction projects
- You possess good technical knowledge across relevant construction work packages
- You're a collaborative communicator who builds relationships across departments
- You're detail-oriented and organised, capable of managing multiple deadlines
