We're looking for a Planner to join our Southern Water team based in Falmer.

Location: Falmer – with site visits within the Southern Water framework as required
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

 

The Planner will support the successful delivery of projects by assisting with programme development, project controls, reporting, and analysis. Working closely with the planning team and wider project teams including sub-contractors, you will help ensure programmes are accurate, compliant, and aligned with project objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your planning skills whilst contributing to critical water infrastructure projects.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Planner, you'll be working within the planning team, supporting them in the successful delivery of projects across the Southern Water framework. Your day to day will include:

  • Producing and maintaining project programmes in line with NEC contract requirements and Southern Water specifications
  • Collecting and analysing project progress data to support reporting and decision-making
  • Maintaining and updating Primavera P6 schedules, including resource and logic adjustments
  • Supporting commercial teams with data for forecasting and assessments
  • Developing effective working relationships across operational, commercial and project controls teams

What are we looking for?

This role of Planner is great for you if:

  • You have experience in planning within UK infrastructure or construction projects
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You have working knowledge of Primavera P6 or a willingness to develop competency quickly
  • You demonstrate high attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • You enjoy working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and have the ability to manage multiple tasks to defined timescales
