We're looking for a Planner to join our Southern Water team based in Falmer.

Location: Falmer - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

As a Planner, you'll play a vital role in managing planning and programmes at contract level, supporting the delivery of projects that make a real difference to communities. What will you be responsible for?

As a Planner, you'll be working within the Southern water team, supporting them in delivering robust programmes and ensuring project requirements are aligned.

Your day to day will include:

  • Managing contract programmes, ensuring they're robust and meet compliance requirements
  • Monitoring projects to identify trends and discussing these with operational teams
  • Creating programmes of works and collaborating with delivery teams
  • Identifying contract risks and opportunities, and communicating these effectively
  • Reviewing planning processes to ensure they align with Kier's standards

What are we looking for?

This role of Planner is great for you if:

  • You have experience contributing to planning functions for projects
  • You're detail-focused with strong analytical skills
  • You can communicate effectively across different audiences
  • You have experience planning works through Gantt charts and other planning techniques
  • You understand how different programme documents flow together
