Planning Manager

We're looking for a Planning Manager to join our Suffolk – Sizewell C team based in Suffolk.

Location: Suffolk – Sizewell C
Hours: 45 hrs per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

The Planning Manager leads planning and programme management across major infrastructure works, ensuring projects are effectively planned, monitored, and controlled to achieve delivery milestones, contractual obligations, and client expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a major nuclear infrastructure project as part of one of the UK's largest energy programmes, with future opportunities to contribute to additional nuclear projects within the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks business unit.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Planning Manager, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in delivering major infrastructure works for a nuclear-grade power station. Your day to day will include:

• Developing and managing fully integrated project programmes using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
• Monitoring progress and productivity, producing weekly and monthly reports, dashboards, and programme narratives
• Analysing delays and developing mitigation, recovery, and acceleration plans to keep projects on track
• Supporting commercial teams with change impact assessments and extension-of-time submissions
• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to coordinate programme interfaces and achieve key milestones

What are we looking for?

This role of Planning Manager is great for you if:

• You have significant planning experience in infrastructure, major civil engineering, energy, utilities, highways, or rail projects
• You possess strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and can produce integrated programmes and look-ahead schedules
• You have experience working in UK infrastructure environments under NEC contracts
• You demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
• You have a proactive, solution-focused mindset with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
