Project Engineer
We're looking for Project Engineers to join our Anglian Water team based in Norwich
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Project Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our projects are delivered successfully from start to finish on our Anglian Water IOS framework. You'll work closely with the Construction Manager and operational teams to meet all required standards, regulations and timeframes, whilst supporting the delivery of Anglian Water project needs. This is an opportunity to use your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to make a real impact.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Engineer, you'll be working within the Anglian Water IOS team, supporting them in delivering high-quality water and wastewater projects.
Your day to day will include:
- Supporting operational and project delivery managers in meeting Anglian Water project needs
- Developing solutions in line with technical and safety standards, ensuring all design, programme and CDM requirements are completed
- Completing all necessary CDM documents and compiling contract documentation
- Coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors and in-house functions to ensure smooth project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements on site
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Engineer is great for you if you hold:
- Temporary Works Coordinator qualification and an engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience in capital delivery within the water sector with a key focus on directly employed staff delivering projects
- Management of the Construction Design Management regulations (CDM)
- Excellent knowledge and experience in customer management as well as external stakeholders
- Commercial awareness working with multiple stakeholders
- Confined spaces training, or willingness to achieve
- Full driving licence
