We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Southern Water team based in Kent, Sussex, and Hampshire.

Location: Kent, Sussex, Hampshire – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Are you an experienced project professional looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a Project Manager to join our thriving water business, where you'll lead exciting design and build projects across our non-infrastructure, water, and wastewater portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, working collaboratively with clients and colleagues whilst enjoying the flexibility of remote working.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Project Manager, you'll be working within the Southern Water delivery team, supporting them in delivering high-quality water and wastewater projects. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading projects from conception through to handover, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety throughout
  • Building and nurturing relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Managing site teams and coordinating multiple subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
  • Taking P&L responsibility for your project portfolio, delivering and enhancing margins
  • Planning and monitoring projects, ensuring all compliance documentation is completed accurately and promptly

What are we looking for?

This role of Project Manager is great for you if:

  • You hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) with  experience within regulated utilities, infrastructure, or the built environment sector
  • You have strong relationship-building skills and a proven ability to exceed client expectations
  • You possess excellent NEC3/NEC4 contractual and commercial awareness
  • You demonstrate collaborative behaviours and can lead project delivery by example
  • You hold a valid driving licence
