Project Manager
We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Water Team based in Nationwide.
Location: Nationwide
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Project Manager, you will assist in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our water sector projects in Kier Design. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a project manager with experience in the water and environment sector to continue to develop within the design and build landscape. You'll be working closely with our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks business, supporting seven UK water companies as part of their AMP 8 investment plans. This is a leading, client-facing role where you'll represent Kier Design in delivering designs that support our water construction business and other clients.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Manager, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team, supporting them in delivering innovative water sector solutions. Your day to day will include:
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams to provide benefit and value to clients
- Taking ownership of scope, budget, schedule, and risk to ensure successful delivery
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients, regulators, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Championing constructability, safety, digital delivery and environmental compliance across your projects
- Maintaining clear and accurate project documentation, including programmes, cost plans, and progress reports
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great for you if:
- You have a degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- You have proven experience in managing water and wastewater projects, ideally within UK regulatory frameworks
- You hold a Project Management Qualification; Member of ICE or CIWEM or NEC accreditation or other appropriate
- You demonstrate analytical and critical thinking with strong attention to detail
- You hold a Full driving licence or are willing to travel to client locations as required
