Quality Engineer
We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team based in Bridgwater, working on our major environmental project Bridgwater Tidal Barrier
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Join our team as a Quality Engineer and play a vital role in ensuring excellence across our complex major project. You'll be responsible for on-site quality control and monitoring across a diverse range of packages, including civils, earthworks, piling, reinforced concrete, cladding, MEICA and internal fit-out.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Quality Engineer, you'll be supporting them in maintaining the highest standards across our projects.
Your day to day will include:
- Liaising with delivery team engineers and client quality representatives to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
- Conducting quality site inspections and reviewing quality documentation, including inspection test plans and work inspection records
- Managing product traceability, approving materials for use on site, and overseeing the product quarantine process
- Raising and managing non-conformance reports through to resolution, ensuring issues are addressed promptly
- Using digital tools to maintain accurate records and support quality management processes
What are we looking for?
This role of Quality Engineer is great for you if you hold:
- Practical experience applying quality control activities within construction projects
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports
- Computer literacy
- CSCS card
