Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Severn Trent Framework based across the Midlands

Location: Midlands
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our Water team as a Quantity Surveyor and play a vital role in delivering complex civil projects across the Midlands. You'll work as an integral part of our Commercial team, providing essential support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and to the highest standards. What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in delivering projects that maximise value and maintain quality standards.

Your day to day will include:

• Controlling costs and maximising value whilst minimising future liabilities
• Procuring subcontractors in line with commercial standards to ensure best value
• Preparing accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts and cost to complete documentation
• Managing monthly applications, final accounts, and client reports
• Liaising with project teams including Commercial Leads, Project Engineers, and Site Managers

What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

• You hold a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying with sound commercial knowledge
• You have experience working with complex civil projects within the water industry
• You possess excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
• You have experience working with NEC suite of contracts
• You can work effectively to demanding deadlines with excellent IT skills
