Senior Planner

Kier Group are looking for a Senior Planner to join our Strategic Projects business unit on a major scheme in the Defence sector at RAF Cranwell in Lincolnshire.

 

Location: Cranwell, Sleaford

Contract: Permanent, Full Time, flexible working available

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Planner, you will be working within the Construction Delivery and Pre Construction Teams to offer planning expertise at both tender and delivery stages of a major project. The Senior Planner will retain an overall monitoring capacity for the project to ensure construction plans are created, updated, and amended in line with project needs.

Your day to day will include:

  • Producing tender programmes
  • Attending regular site visits to assist the team with planning issues and drive the programme
  • Collating progress information and understanding any areas of concern throughout the project life cycle
  • Creating workable construction programmes, monitoring and updating regularly
  • Advising and providing planning expertise across the project

Who are we looking for?

This role of Senior Planner is great for you if:

  • You are an experienced user of Asta and Microsoft Project software
  • You have planning experience within the main contracting sector
  • You have strong knowledge of NEC contract conditions and how this affects planning
