Production Operative

Kier Highways Solutions is seeking a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join our established team at our location in Wymondham, Norfolk. Location: Wymondham, Norfolk, NR18 0RJ

Hours: Full time, permanent, 45 hours per week Monday to Friday - days

What will you be responsible for?

As a Production Operative, your day to day will include:

• Operate bitumen and emulsion pack-filling plants to meet production requirements
• Load bulk emulsion into customer tankers and mobile plants
• Load and unload HGVs and courier vehicles
• Support stock control, warehouse maintenance and site housekeeping
• Operate the weighbridge and provide cover for the Stores Controller when required

What are we looking for?

This role of Production Operative is great if you have:

• Basic mathematics skills
• A forklift licence (training can be provided)
• A proactive, methodical and conscientious approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to support occasional weekend work during the summer
