Senior Planner
We're looking for a Senior Planner to join our Construction team based across regional locations.
Location: Regional locations - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: Full-time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Senior Planner, you'll play a key role in shaping the success of our construction projects, from tender stage through to delivery. Working on projects ranging from £5M to £100M+, you'll bring your expertise to help us deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients across education, health, defence, and other strategic sectors. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, collaborating with talented teams and contributing to projects that positively affect communities across the UK.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Planner, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering projects on time and to the highest standards. Your day to day will include:
- Creating fully integrated programmes that incorporate all project disciplines, ensuring realistic timescales and resource allocation
- Monitoring project progress and providing clear, accurate reporting to project teams and clients
- Identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies to maximise project success
- Collaborating with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the planning team, sharing your knowledge and expertise
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Planner is great for you if:
- You have construction planning experience gained within a main contractor environment on projects between £5M - £100M+
- You hold a construction-related qualification (BSc, HNC/D or similar)
- You're an experienced user of Asta Powerproject and other planning tools
- You have a strong understanding of both NEC and JCT forms of contract
- You hold a Full driving licence and CSCS card
