Senior Planner

We're looking for a Senior Planner to join our Construction team based across regional locations.

Location: Regional locations - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: Full-time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Senior Planner, you'll play a key role in shaping the success of our construction projects, from tender stage through to delivery. Working on projects ranging from £5M to £100M+, you'll bring your expertise to help us deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients across education, health, defence, and other strategic sectors. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, collaborating with talented teams and contributing to projects that positively affect communities across the UK.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Planner, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering projects on time and to the highest standards. Your day to day will include:

• Creating fully integrated programmes that incorporate all project disciplines, ensuring realistic timescales and resource allocation
• Monitoring project progress and providing clear, accurate reporting to project teams and clients
• Identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies to maximise project success
• Collaborating with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the planning team, sharing your knowledge and expertise

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Planner is great for you if:

• You have construction planning experience gained within a main contractor environment on projects between £5M - £100M+
• You hold a construction-related qualification (BSc, HNC/D or similar)
• You're an experienced user of Asta Powerproject and other planning tools
• You have a strong understanding of both NEC and JCT forms of contract
• You hold a Full driving licence and CSCS card
