Senior Project Manager
We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Kier Construction team based in Moredun / Stepps.
Location: Moredun / Stepps, near Edinburgh
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Kier Construction has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of an £85M high rise retrofit scheme near Edinburgh. As part of Kier's commitment to creating spaces that enrich lives and communities, you'll lead this project from preconstruction through its full lifecycle, bringing high rise buildings up to excellent standards of energy efficiency and comfort.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the Kier Construction team, supporting them in delivering operational and commercial goals through effective management of project teams, supply chain, and stakeholders. Your day to day will include:
- Overseeing site teams to effectively manage performance against programme and budget
- Leading project teams to deliver works and managing subcontractor relationships
- Ongoing management of project budget and upline reporting on project KPIs
- Communicating progress to clients and stakeholders in a calm, personable way
- Identifying solutions to project challenges, whether technical, logistical, or commercial
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if:
- You're qualified to degree level or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline
- You have significant experience in leading construction project delivery on high value builds
- You have demonstrable experience of managing project budgets and programmes
- You have strong communication skills with the ability to collate and produce reports for leadership
- You hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Certifications along with a Full driving licence
