Senior Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Places – Building Solutions South team based in the South.

Location: Basingstoke/ Southampton

Hours: 40 hours

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Kier Places – Building Solutions South team, supporting them in delivering high-quality refurbishment and re-cladding projects across the region.

Your day to day will include:

• Managing the commercial resources of assigned projects to maximise planned gross margin
• Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
• Leading and motivating commercial staff to ensure collaborative project delivery
• Managing subcontractor and supplier relationships, including tendering and placing orders
• Supporting the generation of tenders and winning of new contracts

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

• You have experience in a similar role with strong commercial and contractual acumen
• You hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying desirable)
• You are confident using Microsoft Office and other IT packages, and can communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

If a driving licence is required, it does not need to be a UK Driving Licence, just a Full Driving Licence.
