We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team covering the Anglian Water region.

Location: Covering the Anglian Water region Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Northampton, Norfolk and East Essex 
Hours: Perm, full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll lead the commercial management of an allocated portfolio, working collaboratively with operational teams, clients and stakeholders. You'll take ownership of commercial activity, support and develop your team, and ensure that contractual entitlement is protected while maximising cash and margin. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a leadership role where your expertise and clear communication will drive practical solutions.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering successful outcomes across complex schemes. Your day to day will include:

  • Taking commercial ownership of allocated schemes, managing priorities, risks and outcomes
  • Identifying and managing Early Warnings, compensation events and quotations within contractual timescales
  • Producing accurate CVRs, forecasts, applications and cost-to-complete reporting
  • Leading regular commercial reviews with operational teams and clients, ensuring actions are progressed promptly
  • Coordinating and developing junior commercial staff, allocating work and reviewing outputs

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • You have a relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent commercial experience
  • You have strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
  • You have experience managing complex schemes and preparing accurate CVRs and forecasts
  • You're a confident communicator who works well with operational teams, clients and stakeholders
  • You're proactive and organised, able to identify issues early and recommend practical solutions
