Senior Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Places – Building Solutions team based in London.

 

Location: London 

Hours: 40 hours per week 

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Kier Places – Building Solutions team, supporting them in delivering high-quality refurbishment and re-cladding projects across London.

Your day to day will include:

  • Managing commercial resources (people and finance) to maximise planned gross margin
  • Assessing, reviewing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
  • Placing and controlling contracts and subcontracts, including materials and plant orders
  • Supporting the compilation, authorisation and submission of project variations
  • Leading and motivating the project's commercial staff and ensuring collaborative relationships

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • You have experience in a similar role and hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying desirable)
  • You possess strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT packages, and are willing to undertake training and development

If a driving licence is required, it does not need to be a UK Driving Licence, just a Full Driving Licence
