Senior Site Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join our Severn Trent Contract based in Hatton.

 

Location: Hatton

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

 

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Site Engineer you'll be working within the Severn Trent Framework, supporting them in the operational delivery of essential water infrastructure projects. You'll provide technical and functional support across site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance are achieved throughout every stage of delivery.

Your day to day will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a small team of Site Engineers, supporting project delivery and performance.
  • Managing survey controls, gridlines, and site levelling activities to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining quality documentation such as ITPs and ITRs using digital tools like Dalux.
  • Reviewing design drawings, providing feedback and technical input to the Project Design Manager.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors and wider project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Degree/HND or equivalent in a related discipline along with experience within a civil engineering or construction environment 
  • CSCS Card Holder
  • Attention to Detail 
  • Full UK Driving Licence
