Senior Site Manager
We're looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our Construction team based in Site Based.
Location: Site Based
Hours: Full-time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Senior Site Manager, you'll play a vital role in leading the day-to-day construction of assigned projects valued up to £7m. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders whilst making a real impact on projects that matter to communities across the region.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Site Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering projects safely and to the satisfaction of customers and stakeholders. Your day to day will include:
- Leading and motivating site operational staff to ensure safe, quality delivery of construction projects
- Managing procurement, installation and commissioning activities to meet programme and budget requirements
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle
- Implementing project plans and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and health, safety and environmental policies
- Planning and coordinating operational resources to maximise customer satisfaction and project profitability
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Site Manager is great for you if:
- You hold a CSCS card and SMSTS certification, with proven experience in a site management role
- You're working towards or hold professional membership (CIOB, RICS or similar)
- You're an excellent communicator who can influence at all levels and build collaborative relationships
- You have a sound understanding of construction methods, health and safety management, and design and build processes
- You're IT competent with knowledge of planning techniques and relevant software
