Senior Site Manager
We're looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our Construction team based in Plymouth.
Location: Plymouth
Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Senior Site Manager, you'll play a vital role in leading the day-to-day construction of assigned projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, working collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and your team to deliver successful outcomes that matter to the communities we serve.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Site Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering projects that make a difference. Your day to day will include:
- Leading and motivating site operational staff to achieve project goals safely and effectively
- Managing procurement, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and all stakeholders
- Implementing operational project plans and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and health, safety, and environmental standards
- Coordinating resources and communications to maximise customer satisfaction and project success
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Site Manager is great for you if:
- You hold a CSCS card and SMSTS certification, along with relevant qualifications or professional membership
- You have demonstrable experience in a site management role with a strong understanding of construction methods and technology
- You're an excellent communicator who can build relationships and influence at all levels
- You have proven knowledge of health, safety, and environment management, along with competency in planning techniques and relevant software
- You're highly organised, proactive, and driven to achieve outstanding customer and client satisfaction
