Hours: 40 per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

As a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor within the Kier Places HSW Team, you will be allocated contracts and projects to support from conception to delivery, becoming an integral member of the contract and project team. • Carrying out scheduled inspections and advisory visits, promoting best practice in accordance with our risk-based approach
  • Leading investigations using Kelvin TOPSET and compiling comprehensive reports for accidents, incidents and near misses
  • Promoting our Think Safety Differently programme and delivering internal training on HSW systems and risk management
  • Attending pre-contract and pre-start meetings to ensure effective HSW standards are planned and implemented

What are we looking for?

This role of HSW Advisor is great for you if:

  • You have demonstrable experience within construction or facilities management industries
  • You have a membership of a professional body (minimum Tech IOSH) and working knowledge of ISO 45001
  • You have excellent communication skills, being able to communicate at all levels including presentation and training
  • You hold a current Full driving licence and are willing to spend occasional nights away
