SHE Advisor
We're looking for a HS&W Advisor to join our Sizewell C team based in Suffolk.
Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is a unique opportunity for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor seeking the next step in their career to join our Sizewell C New Nuclear Build contract supporting this nationally important energy project in Suffolk. We are seeking an HS&W Advisor to oversee HS&W matters and ensure we are meeting our client's expectations on a complex project. You'll be working in a supportive environment where your skills and expertise will help create a safer workplace for everyone.
What will you be responsible for?
As a HS&W Advisor, you'll be working within the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, supporting them in promoting and implementing health and safety policies and procedures. Your day to day will include:
- Supporting managers in promoting health and safety policies and assisting with the development of project objectives and initiatives
- Producing high-quality health and safety documentation, reports and performance statistics
- Working collaboratively with operational teams to develop risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Conducting regular health and safety inspections and audits to maintain high standards across the site
- Ensuring accidents, incidents and near misses are reported and investigated effectively with timely action delivery
What are we looking for?
This role of HS&W Advisor is great for you if:
- You hold a NEBOSH Certificate (preferably Construction) or equivalent qualification
- You're a member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., Tech IOSH or above)
- You have an Accident/Investigation Qualification (e.g., Kelvin TOPSET, ROSPA or NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation)
- You have a civil engineering background with experience in a similar or supporting role
- You're a confident communicator at all levels.
Please note: A BPSS level security clearance is require, which Kier Group will carry out for the successful applicant (these checks can take 4-6 weeks to process).
