Site Agent
We're looking for a Site Agent to join our Manchester Airport Station remodelling team based in Manchester.
Location: Manchester
Hours: 42 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Agent, you'll be working within the Manchester Airport Station remodelling team, supporting them in delivering the project safely, on time and to budget. you'll play a key role in managing onsite engineering resources to ensure the technical compliance of the assigned scheme. You'll be responsible for implementing the to the required quality while maximising customer satisfaction.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing safety, health, environmental and quality matters for your areas of responsibility
- Supervising site activities and managing the site team to meet all contractual requirements
- Producing work package plans, task briefs and site risk assessments to ensure safe systems of work
- Monitoring resources and progress, providing regular reports on performance against programme
- Supporting the Construction Manager and liaising with clients, designers and subcontractors to ensure quality delivery
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Agent is great for you if:
- You have demonstrable experience in the set up and day to day running of a construction site
- You have a strong understanding of health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations
- You hold a CSCS Card and PTS qualification
- Can drive and possess a full driving licence
