Site Agent
We're looking for a Site Agent (Permits & Utilities Coordination) to join our East West Rail team based in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally significant rail infrastructure programme, working on the East West Rail project connecting Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge. You'll play a central role in building a high-performing, integrated delivery team whilst supporting the successful delivery of an extensive surveys programme.
Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Agent (Permits & Utilities Coordination), you'll be working within the East West Rail team, supporting them in safely managing permits and utilities coordination across the project.
Your day to day will include:
- Preparing, reviewing and issuing Permit to break ground documentation in line with Kier procedures
- Coordinating underground services detection and ensuring safe digging practices are implemented
- Managing overhead power line safety in full compliance with GS6 regulations
- Acting as the key point of contact between site teams, surveyors and contractors for permits and utilities
- Monitoring compliance and supporting site teams in delivering safe systems of work
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Agent (Permits & Utilities Coordination) could be a great fit if you:
- Have experience coordinating utilities on construction or infrastructure projects, with a good understanding of how services integrate on-site
- Bring strong knowledge of detecting and safely working around underground services
- Are familiar with industry standards such as GS6 and HSG47 when working near overhead and underground services
- Enjoy collaborating with multiple teams and take pride in clear, effective communication
- Take a detailed and organised approach, ensuring accurate records are kept and processes run smoothly
