Site Engineer

Site Engineer.

We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our Wanlip team based in Leicester for our contract with Severn Trent.

Location: Wanlip, Leicester 
Hours: 45 hours per week – Permanent, Full Time Contract

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within the Wanlip Sewerage Treatment Works team, supporting them in delivering the Early Contractor Involvement and Main Works Contracts for the site upgrade.

What does the day to day in the role look like?

Your day to day will include:

  • Setting out and surveying works to ensure technical compliance with design specifications
  • Assisting in the preparation of construction records and ‘as-built' documentation
  • Monitoring workmanship and materials, and contributing to quality assurance processes
  • Supporting the preparation of site permits and contributing to daily task briefings
  • Producing daily diary records and assisting in communication of technical requirements on site

What are we looking for?

This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:

  • You hold a relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or Degree in a related field)
  • You have CAT & Genny training and EUSR Water Hygiene certification
  • You bring strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and experience working on major civil engineering schemes in regulated environments
