Site Engineer

We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework based in the North West of England.

Location: North West of England
Hours: 45 per week 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative team where your technical expertise will directly support the successful delivery of important infrastructure projects. You'll work in a supportive environment that values precision, innovation, and teamwork, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of safety and quality.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within the site team, supporting them in delivering works to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Your day to day will include:

  • Carrying out site engineering tasks including setting out, surveying, and checking works against design drawings
  • Supporting the coordination and planning of site works, ensuring technical queries are resolved promptly
  • Maintaining site records such as daily diaries, as-built information, and inspection and test plans
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members to ensure timely delivery
  • Promoting health, safety, and environmental policies while ensuring compliance with site regulations

What are we looking for?

This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:

  • You hold a degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • You have previous experience in a site-based engineering role within a relevant industry
  • You're proficient in using setting out and surveying equipment such as total station or GPS
  • You have a strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes
  • You hold a full driving licence
