Site Manager
We're looking for a Site Manager to join our Anglian Water team based in Ipswich.
Location: Ipswich
Hours: 45 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on infrastructure projects from start to finish across the Anglian Water region. As a Site Manager, you'll be at the heart of our project delivery, working collaboratively with our delivery teams to bring projects to life. You'll manage everything from day-to-day operations to ensuring the highest standards in health, safety, quality and environmental performance. This role offers real variety and the chance to make a tangible difference to the communities we serve.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Manager, you'll be working within the Anglian Water team, supporting them in delivering infrastructure projects to the highest standards. Your day to day will include:
- Leading site-based supervisors, delivery teams and supply chain partners through the full project lifecycle
- Managing projects to ensure timely, safe completion within specification and budget
- Ensuring all site personnel hold relevant qualifications and implementing safety, quality and environmental procedures
- Building strong relationships with our client's operational staff to exceed key performance parameters
- Actively managing programmes, mitigating risks and driving continuous improvement across all areas
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Manager is great for you if:
- You have knowledge and experience in the water industry
- You hold SMSTS certification, relevant management CSCS card, NRSWA supervisor and EUSR qualifications
- You have completed First Aid at Work, Working in Confined Space and IOSH COSHH Management courses
- You have strong programme and budget management skills with commercial awareness
- You're an excellent relationship builder with the ability to influence and inspire collaborative working
