Site Manager

We're looking for a Site Manager to join our Anglian Water region team based in Northampton.

Location: Northampton
Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

As a Site Manager, you'll be at the heart of delivering infrastructure projects across the Anglian Water region. This is a role where your leadership will make a real difference – guiding teams, building relationships and ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and communities, bringing projects to life from start to finish.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Manager, you'll be working within the Area Operations Manager team, supporting them in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality infrastructure projects. Your day to day will include:

  • Leading supervisors, delivery teams and subcontractors to create a collaborative, supportive One Team culture
  • Planning and managing site activity to deliver projects safely, on time, to specification and within budget
  • Promoting a Safer Every Day culture and maintaining full compliance with safety, health, environment and quality requirements
  • Monitoring progress, costs and risks, and working with colleagues to resolve challenges and implement solutions
  • Building effective relationships with clients, operational teams, suppliers and internal functions, and providing clear updates on delivery

What are we looking for?

This role of Site Manager is great for you if:

  • You hold an SMSTS qualification, a relevant management CSCS card and an NRSWA Supervisor qualification
  • You have demonstrable experience managing construction sites, direct labour and subcontractors
  • You have a strong understanding of legislative, corporate and industry safety, health, environment and quality requirements
  • You're a confident communicator with strong leadership, relationship-building and influencing skills
  • You're resilient, self-motivated and performance focused, with the ability to manage programmes, budgets and competing priorities

We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome! So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.
