Social Value Coordinator

We're looking for a Social Value Advisor to join our Construction team based across multiple locations with agile working available.

Location: Agile working across multiple locations
Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 per week

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in communities whilst working across pre-construction and construction phases. As a Social Value Advisor, you'll play a vital role in planning, delivering and reporting on social value activities that create meaningful impact. You'll work across multiple projects, supporting teams to achieve their social value commitments whilst building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and community partners.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Social Value Advisor, you'll be working within the Social Value team, supporting them in delivering impactful community outcomes. Your day to day will include:

• Creating and implementing social value plans with pre-construction and site teams, ensuring targets are communicated and achieved
• Tracking progress against social value metrics and supporting teams through robust data collection and reporting
• Organising and delivering social value initiatives such as skills and employment programmes, community engagement, education outreach and volunteering activities
• Building and maintaining relationships with local contacts, suppliers, clients and community organisations to support our social value strategy
• Promoting awareness and understanding of social value across the region through site visits and clear communication

What are we looking for?

This role of Social Value Advisor is great for you if:

• You have a genuine passion for creating positive change in communities and making a meaningful impact
• You can communicate effectively with diverse teams and help them understand the important role they play in social value delivery
• You have experience in construction, social value, the charity sector, education or a similar community-focused role
• You're confident with data analysis, reporting and using Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel
• You can travel to sites and external events, and you enjoy building collaborative relationships across different teams and organisations
