We're looking for a Social Value Lead to join our Kier Construction team across the UK

 

Location: Flexible - Regular travel Nationally (c3-4 days per week).

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

 

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

 

As a key member of our sustainability team, you'll be leading regional social value initiatives that create meaningful impact for communities. This exciting role sits at the heart of delivering Kier's Building for a Sustainable World framework, ensuring we embed social value into everything we do.

 

What will you be responsible for?
As a Social Value Lead, you'll be working within the Sustainability team, supporting them in delivering meaningful social value across regional projects. Your day to day will include:

  • Leading the regional social value team, chairing meetings and being accountable for business unit targets
  • Collaborating with site teams, clients and external stakeholders to create and implement effective social value plans
  • Supporting strategic bid writing and tender responses with compelling social value narratives
  • Overseeing data collection, measurement and reporting using specialist social value tools
  • Building relationships with community partners to maximise positive impact across our projects

  • You have experience in social value delivery at a strategic level within the construction industry
  • You're passionate about creating positive community impact and social change
  • You have excellent communication skills and can build relationships at all levels
  • You're comfortable with data analysis and social value measurement frameworks
