Stakeholder Manager- 12 month FTC
We're looking for a Stakeholder Manager to join our Environment Agency framework in Exeter, on a 12-month fixed term contract
Location: Exeter
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our thriving Environment team delivering flood and coastal risk management projects across the Greater South-West. As our Stakeholder Manager, you'll play a vital role in building relationships, nurturing connections, and ensuring our projects receive positive community support while enhancing Kier's reputation as a leading contractor.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Stakeholder Manager, you'll be supporting the team in delivering successful flood and coastal risk management projects through effective communication and relationship building.
Your day to day will include:
- Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement and communication plans that nurture positive relationships with clients, communities and local authorities
- Creating engaging content for presentations, newsletters, websites and social media to share project updates
- Organising stakeholder meetings, site visits and community events to foster collaboration and transparency
- Gathering community feedback and ensuring it's thoughtfully considered in project design and delivery
- Developing and delivering social value initiatives that create meaningful connections with local communities
What are we looking for?
This role of Stakeholder Manager is great for you if you:
- Hold experience in stakeholder engagement, communications or customer relations, ideally in construction or related fields
- Are comfortable working on-site in a collaborative, fast-paced construction environment
- Have experience of producing communications content for a range of channels, including presentations, newsletters, digital channels and social media
- Hold strong organisational skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and ensure their alignment with project timelines and objectives
- Have the ability to design and delier stakeholder engagement plans, including audience identification and the measurement and evaluation of success
- Have the ability to effectively interact with and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders from residents, up to elected officials and client representatives
- Ability to assess stakeholder needs and concerns, integrating feedback into project planning
- Are able to adjust communications and engagement strategies in response to evolving requirements and stakeholder expectations
- Hold experience in mediating disputes and finding mutually beneficial solutions to maintain positive relationships.
