Summer Placement - Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Summer Placement Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Leeds.

Location: Leeds
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £27,976 pro rata
Starting date: September 2027

This is an exciting opportunity for a student seeking an 8-week summer placement to gain valuable hands-on experience, develop practical skills, and explore a potential future career in Quantity Surveying.

You will assist in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and develop a strong foundation in quantity surveying.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Summer Placement Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes.

Your day to day will include:

• Assisting in maximising gross profit for projects
• Managing commercial resources of the project
• Assessing, reviewing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
• Helping prepare and submit tenders and contract documents
• Collaborating with the project team to prepare progress reports and financial statements
