Supervisor
We're looking for a Sub-Agent – Roadworks to join our A417 team based in Gloucestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant infrastructure project, supporting the delivery of a major highways scheme by managing resources and driving excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Location: A417 Gloucestershire – site based 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As a Sub-Agent – Roadworks, you'll be working within the Roadworks team, ensuring technical compliance whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Your day to day will include:
- Supporting the Roadworks Site Agent in managing a significant section of the project
- Implementing and monitoring health, safety, and performance excellence standards
- Managing cost control, resources, and supply chain whilst maintaining commercial awareness
- Creating and maintaining programmes to plan and measure daily activities
- Ensuring quality assurance in accordance with specifications, including inspection test plans
What are we looking for?
This role of Sub-Agent – Roadworks would suit someone who:
- Holds a relevant qualification at degree level or has equivalent practical experience
- Has experience within the highways sector, supported by strong project management skills
- Brings a proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach to their work
- Demonstrates excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Communicates confidently and professionally with clients, stakeholders, and members of the public
