Technical Administrator
We're looking for a Technical Administrator to join our Anglian Water team based in Norfolk or Lincoln.
Location: Norfolk or Lincoln as well as some working from home
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team managing and coordinating essential plant equipment across construction and engineering sites. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the right machinery is available, safe, and working to keep projects on track. This flexible position offers remote or hybrid working arrangements (subject to agreement) with occasional travel across the Anglian Water region, particularly across Lincolnshire and Norfolk.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Technical Administrator - Plant, you'll be working within the Support Services team, supporting them in managing equipment, machinery, and vehicles across construction and engineering sites. Your day to day will include:
- Processing and tracking plant hire requests via email and telephone, ensuring accurate information capture and timely progression
- Maintaining the Plant Ledger with accurate records of all hires, off-hires, extensions and status changes
- Coordinating with the Hire Desk and suppliers to source equipment, confirm availability and arrange deliveries
- Managing delivery documentation, processing goods received notes, and supporting invoice queries
- Monitoring live hires, arranging extensions, processing off-hires and resolving operational queries from suppliers and site teams
What are we looking for?
This role of Technical Administrator - Plant is great for you if:
- You have experience working within a construction environment in an administrative capacity
- You possess excellent IT and communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with teams and stakeholders
- You hold a Full driving licence
- You have strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex information and meet tight deadlines
- You have experience in coordinating and tracking equipment or assets across multiple sites
