Temporary Works Administrator
We're looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to join our Devonport Dockyard team based in Plymouth, Devon,
KierBAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall. We are currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and we are seeking a Temporary Works Administrator. Joining the design / engineering team.
Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks.
Eligibility criteria: Candidates must hold a passport from an EU, NATO, Five Eyes, or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
Location: Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Permanent, Full-time
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Responsibilities
As Temporary Works Coordinator, you'll be working within the Devonport Dockyard team, supporting them in providing administrative support to our growing team of Temporary Works Coordinators delivering all aspects of Temporary Works on one of the major projects ongoing in the dockyard.
Your day to day will include:
- Administration of the project Temporary Works Register and updating the schedule of designs currently progressing through the system
- Assembly of Design Packs of completed Temporary Works Designs
- Submission of Design Packs to the Client for Approval, via CDE (CEMAR)
- Filing of Approved Temporary Works Designs on the Project CDE (ProjectWise)
- Administration of the project Permit to Load / Dismantle Register
What are we looking for?
This role of Temporary Works Coordinator is great for you if:
- Effective record keeping skills
- An appreciation of commercial and programme controls would be beneficial
- Fully proficient working with and utilising key software packages such as Excel and Word, PDF-XChange Editor along with familiarisation with other software such as ProjectWise, CEMAR and CAD applications.
